“We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.” – Thomas Fuller

On March 22 every year, we celebrate the World Water Day. The idea behind this day is to focus on the importance of water and the need to conserve it. Without water, animals, humans and plants would all be unable to survive.

This day is the perfect time to start thinking about our water habits and perhaps begin to practise a more eco-friendly approach with some water saving tips we collected for you this week!

Although you may think you can’t make any impact, small actions taken around the home can mean a big difference when it comes to saving water. Why not challenge the whole family to save water on World Water Day and aim to change habits for the long-term?

Here are some simple water saving tips and ideas from us:

  1. Taking a shower instead of a bath
  2. Limiting showers to five minutes or less
  3. Turning off the tap while you’re brushing your teeth
  4. Using leftover water to nourish the garden
  5. Only using the washing machine and dishwasher for full loads

What else can you do?

In case your dear FANNA pieces no longer serve you, please feel free to return it to our collecting point for recycling purposes. Also, any old or outgrown jeans that are only keeping up the space in your wardrobe, are more then welcome for recycling! The bag we give as a gift with the purchases are made from mostly recycled materials. And of course, we will reward you with a HUF 300 coupon for each pair of jeans, which you can use with your next purchase. (Only single use, cannot be combined with other promotions, coupons or vouchers. They cannot be redeemed for cash. They must be used within 3 months at the wehshop of www.fannynagy.com.) Collecting point is subject to prior registration.
